Terms and Conditions.
These terms govern the use of the VedaPool website and provide a framework for requests for information, quotations and the provision of our services.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Use of this website presupposes that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
The specific conditions for each supply or installation are set out in the relevant proposal, quotation or contractual document.
Identification
The website and the activities carried out under the VedaPool brand are the responsibility of:
Scope of these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the VedaPool website and establish general principles applicable to contacts, requests for information and quote requests made through the website.
They do not replace any specific conditions contained in a proposal, quotation, contract or other document agreed between VedaPool and the customer.
The specific conditions agreed for a particular project take precedence over general conditions concerning the same matter.
Website use
The content of this website is informational and is intended to present VedaPool, its solutions and ways to get in touch.
The user undertakes not to use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes, or in ways likely to harm the operation of the service or third parties.
VedaPool seeks to keep information accurate and up to date, but images, project examples, descriptions and other content do not replace an assessment of the specific conditions of each pool or space.
Requests for information and quotations
Submitting a form, simulation or contact request through the website does not, in itself, constitute the conclusion of a contract.
To assess a quote request, we may ask for the following, among other information:
- a wide-angle photograph of the pool area;
- dimensions of the pool or the perimeter to be protected;
- the location of the property;
- additional information needed to assess the space correctly.
The more accurate the information provided, the more appropriate the initial assessment can be.
Request a quote →Proposals and contracts
Any estimate presented on the website, by telephone or during an initial enquiry does not replace VedaPool's final proposal.
Depending on the project, the proposal may specify:
- the proposed solution;
- quantities and dimensions;
- the number of access points or gates;
- installation services;
- the price;
- payment terms;
- estimated timeframes or availability;
- relevant specific conditions.
The contractual relationship is only considered formalised when the specific conditions have been accepted by the parties through the agreed means.
Prices and payment terms
The prices and conditions applicable to each project are those stated in the corresponding proposal or commercial document.
Any purely indicative amounts, ranges or simulations on the website are intended only to provide an initial reference and do not constitute a definitive contractual offer.
Legally applicable taxes and any relevant additional costs must be specified in the terms of the proposal where they apply to the project.
Installation and site access
Where the proposal includes installation, the customer must allow access to the area needed to carry out the work under the agreed conditions and on the agreed dates.
The space must be in a condition that allows the planned work to be carried out safely.
If there are elements that are not visible or have not been communicated in advance, such as underground installations, pipes, cables, irrigation systems or other constraints, the customer must inform the team whenever they are aware of them.
The final position of the fence, fixings and access points may depend on the actual conditions found on site.
Unforeseen site conditions
If a technical visit or installation reveals relevant conditions that could not reasonably have been identified from the information initially provided, the planned solution may need to be adapted.
Any change with a material impact on the scope or price of the work must be communicated to the customer before it is carried out, except in urgent situations relating to safety.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Portuguese and European Union legislation.
Where a contract is concluded at a distance or off-premises and falls within the applicable legal framework, the consumer benefits from information rights and, where applicable, the right of withdrawal within the time limits and under the conditions provided for by law.
The specific application of that framework depends on the manner and circumstances in which the contract is concluded, as well as the nature of the goods or services contracted.
Guarantees and conformity
The goods and services supplied are subject to the legally applicable guarantees and conformity requirements.
Where an additional commercial guarantee exists, its conditions, duration, scope and any exclusions will be communicated in a separate document or in the product documentation.
A commercial guarantee does not affect the rights arising directly from legislation applicable to the consumer.
Information and liability
Pool protection solutions are an important preventive measure, but do not replace appropriate supervision of children or other safety measures suited to each situation.
The use, removal, reinstallation and maintenance of the fence must comply with the instructions provided and the purpose for which the system was designed.
VedaPool will not be liable for improper use, modifications made by third parties or failure to comply with the instructions for use, without prejudice to liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual property
The website's texts, graphics, logos, visual structure, photographs and other content are protected by the applicable rights, unless otherwise stated.
Their reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use is not permitted without authorisation from the respective rights holder, except where permitted by law.
Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data through the website is explained in our Privacy Policy.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is described separately in the Cookie Policy.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have any questions or complaints, we recommend contacting VedaPool first so that we can seek a solution.
Consumers may also use alternative consumer dispute resolution mechanisms under the legally applicable terms.
Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any applicable mandatory consumer protection rules.
In the event of a dispute, the rules provided for by law concerning court jurisdiction and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms apply.
